WATCH US GROW
Colors expected - Expecting a mixture of flashy and classically marked puppies. We do not know if Layla carries a fawn allele, so the litter will either be all brindle (dominant color in boxers) or a mixture of fawns and brindles. We do not expect any white puppies with this breeding.
Health-screening-wise, this particular match will produce puppies who are all DM Negative. ARVC1 will be either clear or heterozygous. ARVC2 will be either clear or heterozygous.
With matching clear screens on thyroid, Hips and Elbows, you can expect your puppy to maintain a low sensitivity to vaccine-induced thyroiditis and solid hips and elbows.
Show potential - as both parents are show quality dogs, we do expect some of the babies to be show potential. We love the beautiful boxer "mush" on both parents. Hoping for same with babies. This is an outcross to keep Coefficient of Inbreeding lower, so expect some variety in puppy conformation. We do not inbreed at Gentry Boxers. Show quality is never a guarantee.
